Engineers Day Special @CSELobby

On account of Engineers Day 2012, the students of SDMCET, CSE have exhibited their technical skills. Depicting their knowledge of the subject by depicting the concepts in terms of Cartooning or Making Models for the same. The models were developed with the help of waste thermocols, plastics, threads etc, without spending a penny from their pockets. Around 28 teams have participated in this event. There were some teams which depicted their skills in Electronic Circuits as part of course Analog and Digital Electronics. Workshop - Matlab

There was a one day workshop at SDMCET's CSE dept today on 12th Dec 2011. It was held in the project lab of CSE dept. The inauguration of the same was held in the dept Seminar Hall

The workshop was split into two sessions, The first session was conducted by Dr.Shivshankar. He spoke about Matlab 7.0 and different commands involved in the same.

The second session was conducted by Dr.Jagdeesh Pujari, on a case study of Content Based Image Retrieval and Textures. 

The students from Mtech SDM CSE 1st sem, UG students of CSE and Faculty of different branches, attended the workshop. Certificates were given to all the participants.

It was a great session by both the resource persons.

SDMCET Foundation Day

This day, 14th dec 2011 marks 33rd Foundation of SDM College of Engg & Tech, Dharwad. A formal function was organised in the lush green gardens of SDMCET where the blue flag of SDMCET was hoisted. All the dignitaries, staff , students of SDMCET were present for this occasion. Feels proud to share the same. Keep the Blue Flag Flying High... :) 

Wedding Rings - Prof Anand S Pashupatimath

My dear friend and colleague, Prof. Anand S Pashupatimath got married to Ms. Rajeshwari at Belgaum on 21st Nov 2011 at KPTCL Community Hall, Belgaum. Many people including CSE SDM staff were also present and greeted the occasion... We wish him a very happy married life...
